Things I May or May Not Have DoneYesterday*

*thanks to Tiburon of Shark Bait for allowing me to steal and tweak your world-famous title

- eaten two hamburgers for dinner
- eaten a dozen cake balls before putting chocolate on them- made them ugly on purpose so you knew that even you could make these cake balls- squealed with glee at each and every comment on my blog, email and facebook page wishing me a happy birthday
- invited a friend over to hang out without telling her it was my birthday (not wanting it to be a big deal, but she may or may not have brought over a gift anyway)
- taken an extra long shower, forgetting that my husband would then have to take a cold shower
- let my kids watch WAY too much tv while I received birthday wishes by phone
- pranced around in a coat and scarf, smelling like yummy lotion, while eating chocolate haystacks and holding money

These cake balls reminded my husband of a Saturday Night Live skit. I love this skit, and it is slightly irreverent (just a warning). Click here for a laugh.

1. I don't even need to look at the link to know that sketch is about some Schweaty Balls.

2. World famous? Really?

3. I hope you had a super fantastic birthday!

4. I would eat those balls anytime.

5. That's what she said.

It sounds like the things you may or may not have done, may or may not have made for a great day. I hope that you did have a great one.

Oh well about all the food eating. There is always a treadmill. Like that is a fun thing :)

I love the look of your balls. And the image of you prancing around, smelling fab and eating chocolate. Now THAT'S celebrating!

I'm happy you had a wonderful day! That's what birthdays are for...to spoil ourselves by eating lots of chocolate and hamburgers and to let others spoil us too! It looks like the kids helped a lot with the cake balls...what a great mom you are. :)

I don't think I've ever had these cake balls I keep seeing all over the place.

But, I do have a killer recipe for Oreo truffles, that are super easy.

As for the SNL skit, I don't even have to look! And I will say that my husband laughs WAY too hard at that skit!

Mmm, those cake balls look yummy! How exactly did you make them?

I hope you had a great birthday!

The skit was cute but I think I would rather see you dancing around with money in your hand eating haystacks. Was anyone on hand with a digital recorder by any chance?

Cake Balls? How on earth do I make these? They look YUM-A-LICIOUS!!

You paint a lovely Erin-on-her-birthday picture. Happy Belated!!

And thank you so much for your kindness in making those cake balls ugly to help our self esteem! You're great.

Shoot, I'll have to check that recipe again and remind myself why I haven't made them yet (I thought there was some ingredient unavailable in Poland, but I'm not sure. . .)
