I have been noticing lately that the word verifications have been more wordlike, and some are quite funny. A couple of weeks ago I got this one:
ursxy. I didn't think to save it, but since then I have been saving some of my favorites:

What kind of mania? Blog mania? NKOTB mania?

Lotsie hotsie?

Halita. The less common form of halitosis.

Clagra. Viagra for clowns.

Opin your mouth. Shove food in. Glut.

Who went to a high school that started with a V? Or is the alum of VHS DVD?

I got this one off of a food blog. Gross.

Can you think of a good explanation for this one?

I think they must have misspelled it. Shouldn't it say gratzit? Because we all know that zits are great (meaning enormous, or at least that's how we always feel).
Yes, NKOTB mania for me please.
I have noticed them being more wordlike, and I often get a little kick out of them.
I am an alumvhs, since my high school was MVHS. There's also Viewmont up north of Salt Lake. :)
At least they're easier to type. I find myself passing them on the first try nowadays much more often than before.
I think sometimes they are funny, but I have to say, I still hate these things. It is like a typing test every time I want to talk.
I think they are all messages from outter space
GartZit. For folks who want to preserve their acne instead of eliminate it.
lol, this is one of those times when I regret eating cereal while reading blogs. I laughed a lot of milk back into my bowl.
I have seen some funny ones too.
But it sure doesn't change the fact that I HATE word verification!
I've noticed the same thing about the word verifications. They've also been much easier to read which is a good thing for a word verification impaired individual like myself.
I wonder if NKOTB mania will start sweeping the nation, no, the world again. They're out on tour you know.
I love that they have become word like I get it in two or three tries now instead of dozens.
Gartzits, is an ad for acne medication. THis is all subliminal messaging to get to to purchase things.
I get a kick out of verifications. It drives some people mad, but I always look for things that relate to the post. I love the opinglut. To me it is someone who is always giving their opinion even when not wanted. They are a glutton for it. This is a riot.
I got the ursxy one the other day too. It made feel great!
I also hate the verification but understand its purpose. I don't think we have met, but Michelle is my SIL, so I found you through her. Love the blog!
Gartzit--it is short for gartgantuian zit. You know the ones that you get that look like a second head has started sprouting on your first one!!
One of my blog friends has started doing a game out of the word verifications. I still don't like them.
Ah, word verification... the bane of bloggers everywhere. :)
word verification often cracks me up.....or should i say annoy me? yeah, that's it, word verifcation annoys me.
I turned off my word verification and then I got The Commie Post. I'm conflicted.
Not about communism, but about the necessity of word verification.
HA HA -- these are funny. I guess that is the good thing about these annoying things... I will have to pay better attention.
That's funny you said that cuz I noticed the same thing. The funny one I saw was "sexyma".
I have no idea where they come up with these things!
I get pretty cool word verification words too, I never thought to save them though. Nobody believes my "uwlldie" story, I wish I would have saved it.
I have totally been noticing this as well. Either someone is just entertaining himself or "they" are doing it intentionally either to trip us up so that we type in the actual word that is closest or so the random computer dialers won't--maybe because they aren't random enough. That's all I've got (but you must admit, it's more than enough)
I read. I loved. I had too little time to write an insightful or sweet comment and left you this ridiculous cut and paste thingy instead. Mwah!
ha ha! thats funny! I never thought of saving those even though I have had my fair share of laughs at some of mine! my fav one is the one you didn't save.. ursxy! ha ha! :)
hillbillys at a bouquet toss..."Outta my way I gartzit!"
I got one that said
urappin
and I was like "Fo Sho!"
and PS
I SERIOUSLY LOL'd on your comment you left on Kristina's blog. about juno. ha ha ha!
Gartzit = Exlamation given by an acne ridden hick who has just succeeded in squeezing out the pus of a particularly difficult whitehead. The end.

I misspelled exclamation in that comment. Maybe it should be another word verifcation?
that last one, I see garlic cream for zits in there somewhere LOL!
did I tag you? if I didn't, then tag!
I got one that said Goleava... and Sher got one that said bichin... sweet.
How did you do the whole save the word ver and make it come up in your post??? TELL ME PUH-LEEZ!!!
Now I have to go find your comment on Kristina's blog about Juno...
i have gotten a lot of words lately too. I have not figured them out.. good job!
Very, very funny! Oh I love your little poem here in the comment box
this is insane. i was thinking the same thing. i thought i would have commenters tell me the word and a definition. wouldn't that be so fun, and funny.
great bloggers think alike. thanks my blog friend.
i am thinking that last one is a zit that is art. i have seen them, i have a 14 year old. squirt! ♥happy blogging♥
Haha! So true!!
Can't think of anything good right now-I have a cold so my head feels like a balloon!
You are too funny!!!
LOL you know, I've noticed that too... but then I thought just maybe I comment too much and I'm losing my mind! (Which is Oh so very possible! LOL) This is my first time here via blog stalkers! Nice to "meet" you!
