Do I Have to Think of a Title?

I'm pretty sure my son has the most sensitive head in the entire world. Whenever I try to wash his hair in the shower, he howls in pain and insists that I am trying to hurt him on purpose. Then I tell him that I'm not even using my finger tips or nails AT ALL, just my fingers. But when I watch him wash it, he just kind of smears the shampoo around with his palm and calls it good. Not good enough for me! I want to smell the shampoo when I kiss his head.

Back when we had the great computer surge of '08, we lost all of the programs on our computer. Fast forward 10 months: yesterday Christian reminded me of a free downloadable program that our kids absolutely adored and I had completely forgotten about. It is called Tux Paint, and it's a drawing program that includes tons of colors, pictures, and visual and sound effects and is fun for all ages (even I have to admit that I play around with it. It's cool!) Make sure you download both programs - Tux Paint AND the Rubber Stamps. Seriously, it is really fun. And free!

Yesterday, my sister told me that she has boxes of Girl Scout cookies in her kitchen that she hasn't been able to eat because of her condition. That reminded me that I had two boxes of Thin Mints I had stashed away in a not-frequently-used cupboard and forgotten about. Score!

On a side note, what is the world record for eating a sleeve of Thin Mints?

How could you forget about Girl Scout cookies?

Oh, girl...

I could eat a sleeve of Thin Mints in about 5 minutes flat, I think!!
Especially if they've been in the freezer...YUM

Me (aka Danielle) said...

So..tell us..how fast did you consume them?

Ummm I'm not for certain on the exact time on the thin mints but I'm pretty sure I hold that record.

My daughter is like that but it's her teeth. She barely touched the brush to them so when I want to do a "deep cleaning" once in a while she screams bloody murder!

My daughters are the same way, except not with their hair--with their bodies. If a few bubbles of soap come off of the wash cloth onto them that is good enough!

Always looking for great free things for the kids... thanks for recommending the computer programs!

Oh my. Girlscout cookies hidden in my house would never ever last.

I love to freeze my thin mints!

Those mint girl scout cookies are manna of the gods! Yumm! My daughter could best your son in the sensitive scalp contest. It just doesn't get better until they get old enough to really wash their own hair well. I, to this day, am still so ticklish on my head that I scream-laugh when the hair stylist washes it (which is why I usally cut my own hair--the screaming can be a bit off-putting though I can't think why!)

I think I have downed a sleeve of thin mints in 3.2 minutes. Just saying....

*Just wait until your boys are about 8 and they decide that they don't even need to use shampoo. They also decide that it is REALLY o.k. to wear the same pair of underwear for days on end. GROSS!! I have to check and double check my son on the shampoo and underwear.

*I am going to check out the downloads--thanks.

*Girl Scout cookies?! What I would give for a box right now!!

I'm racking my brain trying to figure out if I've left any girl scout cookies hidden somewhere...

Forgotten about GS Cookies is probably one of God's many little gifts to us.

It took my oldest daughter YEARS to get over her sensitive head. Every time I did her hair there were tears.Be grateful he's not a girl.

As for the cookies...I don't know how you forgot them in the first place. I have a mental inventory of all the chocolate in my house...ALL THE TIME!

Thin mints also make great dipping devices for ice cream. So good.

People who forget about Girl Scout Cookies exist? I don't think I could do it...they just sit there from their hiding place and call my name all day.

I had to stay completely away from Girl Scout cookies this year. Those poor thin mints wouldn't have even lasted two minutes in this home. There are just too many adults bodies around here that would have chomped them down in no time at all. Kind of like a dog that eats a treat, and you wonder if he even enjoyed it? I think my family does the same thing.

ps-I finally got our fun little blog lunch picture posted.

Hope you're having a beautiful day where you are ☼

Thanks for that free download, I get mad when my kids play on my photoshop and corel.

Mmmm, thin mint girl scout cookies sound really good... considering all sweets have been gross to me lately (the horror!) :( It's been sad. I've WANTED to want them and like them, but it just doesn't work.

You ask an interesting question re the Girl Scout Cookies. You will have to do some research and report back. Your fans will be waiting!!

Oh, and about that sensitive boy of yours...I can so relate! My boy has an aversion to light. It is ridiculous.

2 of my boys have the sensitive head--and so far still haven't out-grown it! (oldest is 16).

I love/hate the girl scout thin mint cookies. LOVE--the taste, HATE--the temptation of eating the whole box. HATE--just thinking of eating one (or 2) puts pounds on my hips :)

Titles are over rated. I found an Easter egg in the library book basket on Monday and it had two chocolate kisses in it. I felt like I had won the lottery!

I'm afraid that the kid's downloadable programs were the cause of our computer woes this past nine months or so (lost two hard drives - but we have Carbonite!) Is that one OK?
And Thin Mints - 15 minutes. I was a depressing day. . . what can I say?

At first I was worried about you. FORGETTING about cookies? Hello!! But then I read your last line, and I felt better. Maybe you ARE normal and the forgetting was just a fluke.

I would never forget because I would have consumed all of the sleeves in less than 24 hours. Without any help. I LOVE Thin Mints. I never got any this year because I am never out when the girl scouts are. Probably best for my waist line though. lol.

If I ever forgot about having Thin Mints in my cupboard, call a professional to come intervene, because that would mean I'd gone insane. But score, for sure! Like finding a $20 in an old pocket - only tastier.

Wo is me that I have no more girl scout cookies. How far is it to your house?

How about "Thin Mints and thin skin"?

(That leaves out the part about the drawing program, but I'm not going to put more thought into this.)

Girl scout cookies...yum.

How did you forget where you stashed them?

Thin minuts. Yummy. I wish I had some, I guess it doesn't matter any way.

I think I could shove an entire sleeve in my mouth all at once.

It is a gift.
