Pause...Unpause

I noticed that one of my deposits from the bank came through with 10 more dollars than I had actually deposited. I went to the bank to find out what happened. They quickly fixed the problem and removed the ten extra dollars from my account. I was hoping they would give me a free football phone or credit my account with a thousand dollars à la Phoebe from Friends, but no such luck.

I just realized this morning that I can't put my socks on the "normal" way anymore. Usually I pull my knee up to my chest and put my sock on. This morning, my belly was too big so I had to cross my foot onto my other knee to get the sock on. Pretty soon, I won't even be able to see my feet.

We have a miniature foosball table (maybe 18 inches by 12 inches) that my kids love to play with right now. I was playing with Aidan this morning (age 4), and right in the middle of a play, Aidan said, "Pause!" Then he scratched his head while he expected me to stop everything I was doing. Soon after, he said, "Unpause," and proceeded to hit the ball into the goal. Hmmm, and I thought the three video game tickets per week was good. Maybe I should take it down to two...

I made Eggos this morning, and there must have been a small piece of bread or something in the toaster because it smelled a little bit burnt in our house. Aidan said, "What's that hot sound?" I said, "What hot sound?" He said, "I smell hot sound. I think it's the popcorn (that we ate and left the package out on the counter overnight." Isn't he a cutie?
