Almost Wordless Wednesday

While at my parents' house over the weekend, Ethan lost his first tooth! His one request that night as he was going to bed? "Mom, please keep the (bedroom) door open a crack so the tooth fairy can get in." She left him a dollar. What a sweet boy!

Cute. How old are kids when they start losing teeth?!?

Exciting! What a good Tooth Fairy! We've told our kids you have to give her a week because we ALWAYS forget for at least a night or two. They know it's us even though we talk about her like she exists and they are patient with her, fortunately. :)

lol I have to laugh, after so many children at my house loosing teeth, lol I wish I never would have started the tooth fairy. She is broke!

I love the look of a toothless child, it is priceless!

Yay for him!

P.S. Thank you for putting "Almost" WW. I have to admit, a huge blogging pet peeve of mine is when people do WW posts, with a ton of words. I know, I have no life.

Our tooth fairy usually only has a debit card, so there is a delay.

But we are about out of that stage now. I think my youngest has a few molars to go.

Our tooth fairy was the WORST! She fell asleep and always forgot. It took a couple of days before she could get her act together.

Interesting that he's just losing his first tooth. I swear my girls are early with this...Chloe has lost like 6 already, and her top and bottom permanent teeth are all in fully.

Yay Ethan!

And glad your tooth fairy is on the ball. Mine is horrible. She is always a week late.

As the parent of a young boy myself, I'd say "Almost Wordless Wednesday" is a very accurate title! Congrats on the tooth. The Tooth Fairy is much more generous there than she is at our house! We--she--clearly need to step it up!

How cool!

I remember I lost 5 teeth in one week once. I made something like 30 bucks for pain and suffering.

The 'tooth fairy' is awesome.

I am so happy the tooth fairy remembered! SOme nights the tooth fairy has forgotten our place! Maybe it is because of the closed door....

Ha! When my sister began losing teeth, she almost never got a quarter. Our mother (lived in Mexico her whole life) always disliked American traditions thinking they were a waste of time. But my sister was always so excited, so late at night I would be working on homework then sneak to her room and replace the little tooth with a surprise. My mom disapproved, but remained silent about it, so I continued. BUT, if the girl stayed up too late, the toothfairy might have skipped her house...
