1. Write even less frequently on this blog, and
2. Try to make every post even more boring than the last.
Just kidding.
I'm not making any New Year's resolutions this year. But I do have three goals:
1. Continue working on who I want to become (authenticity)
2. Read and comment on friends' blogs more often than once a month
3. Cook/bake/make something once a week from my pile of cookbooks/food blogs/recipes I've printed throughout the last 10 years and never made.
I would like for life to stop feeling like it is spinning out of control, but I have a feeling that is the "new normal" for me. So my other goal is to get used to this feeling.
I'll be seeing you around the blogosphere!

These sound perfect!
Awesome. I think you should send me some baked goodies.
I like the cooking one. I have a large file of recipes in my email. I think I've made 3 or 4 things from it the past two years. Oops.
I'm with you! No resolutions just goals!!
Happy New Year!
My wife asked me if I had any resolutions, to which I felt guilty that I did not think of any. I guess that any improvement can be considered a resolution.
Wait--you mean the spinning out of control is here to stay?! Oh, no--I'm screwed!!
Resolutions bore me! I tried to hide from them, but my husband went all crazy this year about them! hoi now my head is spinnning. Are you going to be sharing those recipes with us? *crosingfingers
Yeah, that whole cooking resolution is mine too. Blah--I hate cooking!
It's funny, las year my resolution was to spend less time blogging, and this year it is to write more on my blog. Funny how that works, huh?
I'm not a huge fan of resolutions either, but not having life spin out of control sounds great!
I will be happy to test your baking/cooking goal! And don't get too worried about the spinning out of control -- give it some time. You're still adjusting to life with three kids!! Trust me --with four kids, I know how it feels to be spinning...
Life spinning out of control MUST be normal . . .it's what so much of us are experiencing. Hang in there!
spinning and spinning here too.
I've been a slacker blogger/commenter too...Hi Erin! How's that little Caitlyn?
Don't judge your blog based on the last month.. heck the last 6 months. December is a hard/bad blogging month for pretty much everyone. And babies take a lot of time. Some day things will be less crazy.. or well at least a different kind of crazy :)
Glad to know I'm not the only one with a huge, unused recipe collection. I need to do that too.
Good luck adjusting!
I also have tons of recipes marked and on my list to try....This year will be the year that I actually get to some of them!
