The Dragon Caterpillar is Chasing Me!

I have written about the fact that we use video game tickets around here. Well, when Kaitlyn was born I stopped using them because, to tell you the truth, I needed to have the ability to let them play more often if I felt like I couldn't handle doing everything with three kids.

We finally reinstituted the video game tickets last week, and I'm glad I did. For our anniversary I got Christian Super Mario Galaxy 2, and the boys are obsessed. A few nights ago, Aidan woke up crying. When Christian asked him what was wrong, he was obviously still mostly asleep and he mumbled, "the dragon caterpillar is chasing me." Yep, three days a week of video games is enough!

I'd cry if a dragon caterpillar was chasing me, too!

LOL! Poor little guy! Three days sound good. I usually do not have to limit video games or computer time until it gets too cold for outside activities.

How long do they get to play during their 3 days a week? I have been thinking about starting something like this for Keira. She doesn't play very often but when I let her it is usually for an hour or so. I usually use it as a reward though. hmmmm.

Tyson did that with Super mario Bros How funny. I like the ticket idea, but my boys go in spurts, and i think that would work good with TV too

I love this idea and I think I am going to implement this in my own home...thanks for the good idea!

We've had one too many dreams about storm troopers and "bad guys" in general. The Hulk broke our PS2 a few weeks ago and it's been GLORIOUS!

I have just never caught the video game bug, but my kids used to get quite hooked.

Poor little guy!

Ack! My boy is obsessed too- I have to limit his time as well. His obsession is the whole "Zelda" series.

Yeah new babies do make TV and video games a necessity.

I might need to start a ticket program for my husband. He just bought the new Halo game and he may play a little to often with his brother and friends online.

Is it the wrong response on my part that I want to play that game now?

My girls very rarely want to play our Wii. It's interesting to me. Of course, I never much wanted to play when I was young either, but I always thought it was just because my brothers hogged it and were rude to me. :)

Anyway....poor kid. The Dragon Caterpillar sounds very scary! Sophia has been having dreams of skeletons chasing her ever since she got the book she chose from her book order about a Halloween Skeleton. Silly girl!

I'm surprised I didn't have more nightmares as a kid about super mario brothers...some of those characters were freaky!
